Peter McBreen, Managing Director of Education Services writes ... "It is with great pleasure that I announce that Jessica has accepted my offer to become Auckland Regional Manager. Jessica has been with Education Services for over seven years now; she was part of the School Accounting Services team in Whangarei before spending three years in our Whangarei office under the guidance of Warwick. Jessica accepted a transfer to Auckland to support Julie Pelling as 2 IC in the new Auckland office, then took up the challenge of managing the Auckland clients in 2011 when Julie left us. Jessica has wonderful attributes, and will be a most welcome addition to the management team. She has completed her National Diploma in Business Studies (and passed her latest exam – Business Finance 2 – with flying colours). Jessica has a good command of school accounting issues having completed annual accounts for her Auckland and Whangarei clients over a number of years, a growing confidence in her marketing abilities and above all a wonderful customer care philosophy. I’m sure you will all join with me in congratulating Jessica on achieving this significant appointment. It could not go to a more deserving recipient in my book." We are pleased to announce that Education Services Ltd is now a Gold Sponsor of The New Zealand Principals' Federation. "Having enjoyed the Silver Sponsor relationship for the past two years we felt that it was time, and would be money well spent, to go to the next level." says Peter McBreen, Managing Director of Education Services. The sun has been shining on Education Services and we have some good news to share. On the 4th of June 2013, Education Services will open its 7th Office in Hamilton. We are thrilled to announce we have signed an agreement with School Services Limited (previously Multiserve), and we are to merge that business with ours. The owner of School Services Limited, Santjie Stols, and the Hamilton employees will be retained as Education Services staff and Santjie will manage the Hamilton operation. Our client numbers will climb to 610, almost 25% of all New Zealand Schools and fast approaching 1 in every 3 North Island Schools are now Education Services clients. The team at Education Services welcomes Sarah Tatham into the family. Sarah started in our New Plymouth office on 5 February 2013.
Our congratulations goes out to Craig Anderson who has worked for Education Services for 20 years.
We are pleased to announce that an updated Client Manual has been released. This manual covers everything a school needs to know about the sometimes complex finance side of the education sector as well as what our clients need to know when interacting with us.
