Peter McBreenChief Executive Officer

Pete was the first Manager appointed to the New Plymouth office at its inception in 1994 , became a director of Education Services in 2000 and succeeded Wayne Costello as CEO in 2008. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and prior to joining Education Services had a background in banking, chartered accounting (including auditing schools for 3 years), commercial accounting and building. Pete is married to Linda, and they have two sons aged 12 and 9. His outside interests include rugby, fishing, and being a part-time farmer on his 10 acre block. Pete is also on the BOT of Oakura Primary School (since 2007) and the board of Kaitake rugby club (since 2001).


 
Karyn Brett – Regional Manager

Karyn joined the company in 1998, with experience gained and tertiary qualification's achieved, Karyn advanced from a Client Accounts Officer to Regional Manager of the New Plymouth branch in April 2008. Karyn is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Karyn's outside activities include netball, touch rugby, and playing around in the surf on her kayak.


 

 

 

 

Ros Limmer – Client Officer

Ros is the most senior Client Accounts Officer in the New Plymouth office - having been employed since its inception in 1994, and prior to that was a client accounts officer for the Taranaki Education Service Centre. Ros has individual responsibility for over 20 clients as well as playing a role with year end financial statements. Ros's outside interests include walking and gardening.


 
Chris Agnew – Client Officer

Chris started with Education Services in February 2005, initially to process creditors, data input and reception duties. However, Chris has since moved to a Client Accounts Officer position with a portfolio of over 20 schools. Chris is also in charge of maintaining the asset registers for the New Plymouth Office, and helps in the year end process.
Prior to starting with Education Services Chris had a sole charge school office position until the school closed. While not at work Chris regularly takes her dog for walks and runs around after her three teenage children.


 

Sandra Coombe – Client Officer

Sandra started with ESL New Plymouth in February 2008 having previously worked at a local accountants office and is an ex Treasurer at a local School. This has given Sandra good accounting and School knowledge for her position here at ESL. Sandra works part time and enjoys the School holidays off to look after her two Children Emma and Ethan. While not at work Sandra also enjoys walking and looking after the sheep on their lifestyle block.


 

Mary Wolters – Administration Officer

Mary commenced with Education Services in February 2006 , after returning home from an overseas trip lasting 15 years to the Netherlands. Mary's previous position was working in the payroll office for a big firm in Holland. Mary's position incorporates receptionist and administration duties, which include providing administration support to the Regional and General Managers. Mary is also responsible for the BOT payroll for the Company, has a portfolio of just over 10 Clients and helps with the year end financial statements. Mary's interests include cooking, reading, walking and going for rides on their motorbike.


 

Krysta Brougham – Administration Officer

Krysta joined our team in September 2010 for 30 hours a week. Krysta processes creditors, maintains asset registers and helps the Client Officers when needed. Outside of work Krysta likes to spend time with her two young children.
